Re: Buzzer of Doom!! Oil pressure buzzer keeps going off!!

Oh... and as for the rebuild - here is the info: How much was your rebuild ? With all parts and labour, about £1800. Who did it (and are you happy with them) ? Brixham Garage in Paignton - and yes, very happy with them . They went out of their way to take on my project when they were busy and have b...

Re: Buzzer of Doom!! Oil pressure buzzer keeps going off!!

Thanks for all the replies. I passed what you all said to the Garage and they found it very useful. It turns out they replaced the high pressure switch with the wrong switch. They then found a loose connection in the wiring (probably knocked out of place when the engine was dropped out) which they f...

Re: Where I can get a Thermostat Housing for T25 1.9 Watercooled

I have also been in contact with North West VW who may be able to get me a used one out of one of the vans they have - also, Volkspares are going to get...

Where I can get a full set of Stud Cylinder Head bolts?

Just had two of the studs snap in my 1.9 watercooled engine. It has taken a while but the garage has managed to get them all out but I am now having problems finding a replacement set?? I see VW Heritage are advertising them here - http://www.vwheritage.com/vwh/VW-Camper-Van-Parts/Bus-Parts-1980-91/...

Re: Think ive done a bad thing!!!!

I am just going through the same thing. Two of the studs had snapped and after waiting 5 weeks, the garage finally managed to get all of them out! Now for the re-build. One question though, I am having trouble (and so are the garage) getting hold of a replacement set of studs (4 small, 4 medium and ...

Brand New Engine for T25 1990 1.9 petrol (not re-con)

Hi, I have had a massive failure of my engine which means a hefty £1000 billl to get it fixed. I am considering getting a new engine instead but wonder if anyone know where I can get a brand new (not recon) engine for a 1.9 T25 1990 water cooled van? Most of the ones I have found so far are re-con e...

White Wall Tyre Painters

Does anyone know if there is a company that paints white wall side walls on to black tyres using a special white wall machine? I know that there is a guy based in Sale that does this butdoes anyone know of someone in the south west that can do this?

Thanks

I have seen this company mentioned alot online: http://www.bayarearods.co.uk ...who can smooth the tyre down and add a layer of white rubber. Anyone had any experience of this? They are quoting me £50 to do a whole set which sounds good. I rang the insurance company and they said that as long as we ...
