Sididng doors AC-WC difference??

Hi all, Please can you help a newbie out? I have got a 1981 air cooled T25 with a very poorly sliding door. I have been told that there is a difference between my door and the later water cooled T25's ( something about door handle size?). Is there a difference? what is it? and would any T25 door fit...

Thanks. I thought it might be, but with a camper thats nearly 30 years old it could have been a bodge from the past. I will coil it up and leave it there then. :lol: Cheers.

Mystery 3 pin plug under air filter????? First Post

Hi all,
I was recently servicing my new van (my first VW camper) and i found a grey plug and cable coiled up under the air filter. Looks like it had been there unloved and unused for a long time.
It is a 1979 air cooled 2 ltr.
Any ideas what it is and is it of any use???
