Re: T3 needing panel work and repaint in Yorkshire

Thanks all!

I've dropped MetalMickey a message and I'll call into Colour Concept next Tuesday.

The old bus has served us well, she deserves to look pretty again :)

T3 needing panel work and repaint in Yorkshire

Morning all, My T3 is getting ready for some bodywork and a repaint, one bottom corner of the windscreen surround is rotten, also some areas are going around the side windows - it's a converted panel van. We've had the old girl for a decade and I expect we'll have her for another decade, at least un...

We should meet up at an 80-90 camp-over and do a swap then

Typically we were in Chester last week, my wifes family live in the Wrexham area.

Re: Our new Leisure drive hightop

Nice van that :)

We have a leisure drive hi top as well, different shaped roof on ours and not as tidy as yours, but we love it.

Ours has carpeted panels, but I want to swap them for vinyl, easier to clean!

Re: T25 Selby & surrounding areas.

Another Selby based T25 owner here, I've had my camper around six years now, originally bought it from a vicar in Thorpe Willoughby!

I'll keep an eye open for you.

Steering column - safety coupling

Morning everyone, I've just called at a friends house as he is having trouble refitting his T25 steering wheel that he removed a few weeks ago. However, there isn't enough of the splined section sticking out to fit the wheel on to, and closer examination has found that the steering column safety cou...

Well, a quick check on the DVLA website confirms that the van is still on the road, it has a current tax disc to November this year.

I can't help other than that, sorry!

the engine cases are split vertically and the sump plug thread is in one half of the pair, so you cant swap the sump for a good one if the thread is knackd, like you can with an air-cooled eng. try gripping the bolt tightly with mole grips/self grip wrench and applying downward force as well as ant...

I'm most likely bringing it to DF, so feel free to come and have a good look at it!

I'll PM my mobile number to anyone interested, then we can find each other on the day.

Me neither! I suspect the time of year doesn't help.

I've had two offers in the last 24 hours though, so things are looking up.

Finally got back home and back into the swing of things last week. Also got opportunity to have a closer look at the Sika, and also took some more pictures after cleaning it. Firstly, the truck isn't as good as I remembered (unfortunately) more rust, a nice chip in the passenger side windscreen, the...
