Re: 1700 headgasket
Hi Guys Apologies for jumping in on the thread but thought I'd post it here seeing as the discussion was already on the go. I have just got home after 'blowing' my head gasket on my 1700 diesel. Light came on and temp went to the top, found somewhere to pull off and right when I was coming to a stop...

Re: New T25 Owner - Where can I purchase the gutter trim
Sounds like it could develop into a plan whitevan women :) Thanks for the tip. Also to the original poster, my trim was stuck on with what seemed like tiger seal or some such sealant as it was still soft enough and gooey to make it a real pain to clean spotlessly for painting. Not good for cleaning ...

Re: New T25 Owner - Where can I purchase the gutter trim
I think he means the little plastic bits that curve onto the ends of the gutter and join to the trim. If so these are no longer available and I haven't been able to source any from anywhere else, maybe someone has a source on here or some available as I need a couple for mine. Mine were quite rigid ...

Re: Rear VW badge fitting
Thanks 1664 I got it fitted yesterday, finally. I ended up putting a slight 'nick' across the prongs where they already have a line across them where they catch in the grommets, basically just cleaned them up. I also left the grommets just slightly proud then pushed everything together at once. Seem...

Re: Rear VW badge fitting
Hi 1664 Thanks for the reply I understand exactly what your saying as its just like every other badge I've had but it doesnt seem to be holding in the grommets or as it feels like its unable to be pushed in far enough to catch. Its almost as though the badge is in place touching the bodywork lightly...

Re: Steroe fitment advice
Thanks guys I thought it would be something simple and better to ask those with experience rather than go through trial and error. I will have a cd player as the ipod doesnt like a lot of the old cd's, they play on the ipod like an old scratched record. Thanks again for the help and I'm sure there w...

Hi guys Need some advice on fitting a new stereo to my 88 panel van. I have just finished a respray and tidying up the old girl and thought while I was at it I would replace my standard fitment radio/cassette player and fit some speakers rather than just the one in the dash  I have read through...

Rock and Roll bed from Bay - Will it fit T25?? Help wanted
Hello I am fairly new here so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I have been offered for sale a RnR bed that has come out of a bay window and I would like to fit it to my 88 model T25 panel van. It is a 3/4 width and is in need of some paint and new boards which I can do no problem. Will t...
