Not sure where from but a mate of mine got hold of an extended sliding door hinge which brought the door out further when opened so it missed the wheels. Not a lot of help I know but just letting you know that they are out there.

I've just fitted one to mine - the tricky bit is getting the bolts through the back of the roof and hinges to sit correctly. I had a plate manufactured with the nuts welded to it for each side so in effect the plate creates a sandwichbetween the roof and the hinges.

If I want to fit a leisure battery somewhere other than under the seat and there is no size restriction... how big can/should I go? Are there any other limiting factors?
