when choosing a replacement for a campervan, i'd check the voltage and dimensions first so it fits the existing space. there are also 12v led lights designed for motorhomes and caravans, which may be worth comparing with the original fitting.

that makes sense. using a multimeter seems the easiest way to get a rough idea of how the battery and alternator are doing. good to know those voltage readings as a starting point.
