Does anybody know if i am to get coolant coming from thermostat bleed valve whilst bleeding. if not can someone explain to me why i am having to open it. sorry to be so thick. if so why is it not coming out

I have bled the system on a good slope. have got water without bubbles from the rad bleed screw, although i never had a drop come out of the Thermostat bleed valve. is this normal. also the temp never passes the the half way mark.

I recently purchased a 1990 Carravelle from a friend. It had a new engine DG about 4,000 miles ago and has recently started throwing water all over the road after a few miles. although this is not every time we take it, just ninety percent of the time. usually the water dumps from the expansion tank...
