Many thanks Harry Luckily (or not) the Turbo flange bolts undo easily.....when I got to Wales only 2 were still in and they were sheared, yet it was not blowing from that flange. It is the manifold ones I think will be a sod to undo. I will order the studs, nuts,washers gaskets etc and have a go whe...

Hi all. My 1.6TD is sounding like it has a blown exhaust. Sudden oil loss
Hi, My 1990 1.6td lost most of its oil today. Oil light & BOD . Oil spotted all up the tail gate and splodges on the road every 2yard behind me. No power loss or any other symptom up to then The oil appeared to be coming from the turbo but when I looked it seems it is coming down from the breath...

Both rear springs had broken off about 1.5 turns up.

Propex NO Heat...er
The Propex heater in my camper puts out no heat....Fan works fine.
Are there silly things to check before I decide to send it off to Propex for a repair ?
