Does anybody know if the 1600d N/A head is the same as a 1600td head. Is the casting the same, is it the same cam etc ? Ive got a td with a useless head and ive found a 1600 non turbo engine that I can strip but I dont want to waste my time if its not compatable.So I thought i would ask the experts ...

Pop down I will have a look at it for you.

I dont want to worry you but I have taken a autosleeper hightop off to find it was only held on with about 18 inches of metal roof remaining. But saying that we managed to weld the roof up and fit a hightop back and all was good. It became a job that took a week not a day.

How much headroom you got up there ?
Thats the critical thing beds can be created if the space is big enough

Shouldnt be a problem.

No number on the tiger seal we use but we do get white and its available from motor factors or car paint suppliers we tend to buy in bulk because of quantities we use but they will sell what ever amount you want usually about three tubes per roof is plenty.
