We run it down the sides of the van roof, then lower the fibreglass roof into position, fill the front and back from the inside, run some down the sides from the inside. Less messy this way, any that is in gutter can be cut back when dry to give you clear gutters after the install. :ok Hope that mak...

We have removed a fair number of your existing roof, theres not normally a lot holding them on you have to remove the rear bed platform and strip the side hole trim some are also bonded to metal brackets at front and rear. Does anybody know if the 1600d N/A head is the same as a 1600td head. Is the casting the same, is it the same cam etc ? Ive got a td with a useless head and ive found a 1600 non turbo engine that I can strip but I dont want to waste my time if its not compatable.So I thought i would ask the experts ...

I dont want to worry you but I have taken a autosleeper hightop off to find it was only held on with about 18 inches of metal roof remaining. But saying that we managed to weld the roof up and fit a hightop back and all was good. It became a job that took a week not a day.

No number on the tiger seal we use but we do get white and its available from motor factors or car paint suppliers we tend to buy in bulk because of quantities we use but they will sell what ever amount you want usually about three tubes per roof is plenty.
