(which will involve screw holes and screws, or mega strong double-sided tape :) ) Double sided tape is not as stupid as it first sounds :-) No-Nails do two types of double sided tape, one is supposed to be removable the other not, don't no how secure it would be, but is definatley worth a look if o...

We had a leak from the back one, and a quick smear of silicon sealent sorted it, the leak looked to be a lot worse but once on the roof it was just very slightly craked sealent.

Water always seems worse than it is.

Advantage of the Eber is that you *should* always have fuel to run it as it taps into the vehicles tank.

I had one on my old bay, looks good but not much use as an actual step as too close to the van.

Re: Cubby hole/battery cover

These 'orrible things were over my offside battery compartment and nearside cubbyhole-behind-the seat. http://t25.synaptyx.co.uk/images/t25_cover-thing_0001.jpg They appear to be made of fibreglass and have been hacked off something else, or (badly) cut to fit the cubby and battery area. They have ...

Sounds fairly simple... Wouldn't have thought it could be a split boot, as it passed MOT three weeks ago, and think they are part of the MOT. from what I have found its a Moly based grease...

No not checked them yet, not sure what to look for, is it something you have done?, what are they lubricated with, Grease?

Suspect it may well be the CV's as it certianly isn't brake releated, and the creaking when rocking the van could also be the CV's I suppose.

Squeak from rear

Got this squeak from the rear end, it is rotational if you know what I mean, it seems to come from the rotation of a wheel. If you rock the van from the outside the suspension squeaks/creaks, and it sounds similar to that but decreases an increases with speed, touching the brakes makes no differance...

Most campsites that allow genny's will limit the hours of day that they can be run for so as not to disturb other campers.

Tends to be for a few hours around mid-day when most people are usually off site.

HAS ANYONE SPECIFICALLY USED SCOTCHGUARD SPRAY AND WHAT WERE YOUR RESULTS????? CHEERS GW To be honest I wouldn't pursue the Scotchguard route unless you can get loads of it cheap, Fabsil is good for the job, done my old pop top with it and would have thought it would work out cheaper than Scotguard...

Update on this. No prevision in existing rear light cluster as no bulb holders either side. So I have bolted on a £7.99 lamp from Halfwits, got a switch mounted and earth wires done ready just got to do the live wiring, so will have a look for Simons front to back wire first before running my own. A...
