I have had loads of Toyota Celicas, and one design had a "pooh" engine...always failed the rubber seal front pulley one. Toyota wanted 14 quid for it, but i went to city seals n bearings in sheffield and less than a quid...and its the same as sold to Toyota!

Well...the paper got it slightly wrong, it wasnt a restoration project as such, it was a German one i brought over in Jan but we made in the inside better and just right for us, it passed the MOT thur, DVLA fri for documents and UK reg....Sat hit by drunk driver and Mon new tax dick and reg arrived....

If i am correct, which i rarely am...a T3 is a German one (mine is), a T25 is a UK one. I am with Adrian Flux..pain in the backside, take payments when they shouldnt, promise to return it, they do..they take it straight again, im down in cash for over a month for which i cant afford. Well i got my new documents and reg..the following monday...BUT when i took the forms in (and yes i left most blank!) thye didnt ask for 50quid fee etc etc etc...i couldnt even find the engine number...

well i have a nice new tax disc...but nowt to stick it on!

BMW made a mistake in the early 80's they tried to save a few quid and fitted plastic impellor in there water pumps...they ALL failed at about 150,000 miles (i had 3), so off to GSF for a metal German one...last BMW i sold had 300,000 miles and still sweet.
