Re: Fully retractable rear seatbelts

You Sir (I assume you're a Sir :P ) are a star. Looks like they're based in Stevenage, which isn't a million miles from me, but the website listing i found for them is dead ... hopefully the rest of the company is still going! Will give them a ring tomorrow and find out.

Many thanks for the info.

Re: Fully retractable rear seatbelts

Pwag20, can I ask a really large favour? Could you have a look and see if there's a manufactures name on the "middle" seat belt? I too am trying to source one of these type of 3 point belts but have not had much success yet!

Re: Garage brake service beds or bucks area

Neighbour of mine swears by removing the brake fluid filler cap and then wedging the brake pedal hard down with a lump of wood or similar ... then walk away for a day or so! He claims that by applying constant pressure it forces the air bubbles back to the only place they can escape - back into the ...

Re: Removing Allen Bolts from an Upper Ball Joint

Had the same problem, ended up cutting off a piece of the allen key and insterting it into a matching sized socket, attaching the sliding T-bar (most socket sets come with one) then as I applied un-doing pressure hitting it firmly with a small lump hammer, came out easily in the end. New ones were s...

Re: 5 speed jx

Thanks Aidan .. you've now saved me my "pipe-dream" money for a modded gearbox and as the gearbox is now out of the equation an oil cooler just got higher on the list :rollin Dr Jones, best things I did to our pop-top camper ... lowered (45mm, fine on campsites with full load) slightly sti...

Re: 5 speed jx

Charge/intercooler? ... though I have yet to hear of anyone fitting one to a JX, would be very interested in finding out what the extra bhp/mph is or has the potential to be. What did Aiden say about the gearbox? I have often wondered whether the JX has the grunt it needs to be able to handle a tall...

Couldn't get it out despite best efforts and finally ran out of time :( but not before coming up with this as a repair job for the snapped cable :D http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y292/kasio/handbrake.jpg Made out of an old piece of M6 threaded rod and a wood screw insert with the thread ground off...

Front handbrake cable replacement

Can anyone give me some advice on replacing the front handbrake cable please. I've had a good read through some past threads but I can't work out if it is a tank down job or not? Mr Haynes has it as a simple ... undo this, that and the other and pull it through, but in the real world it's not that s...

Here we have the crucial part in the small print .. We will not pay for any of the following: * Your vehicle to be sent home if the costs of repatriation will exceed its UK market value. and * The UK market value of the vehicle will be obtained from the Glass's Guide or a recognised equivalent. There's an extra dash piece that screws under the main dash board, to the left of the steering wheel (if it's a RHD) There's a LHD version on http://www.ebay.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; if you search for Chokezughalter.

Re: cold start on a 1.6td HELP

Budice, from my understanding there's no wire (implying it's electrical) it's a cable that runs from the lever to the fuel pump. I guess you first point would be to check if it's connected? ... someone pulls out the lever while someone else checks for movement on the pump? After that ... hhmmm, serv...

As for the sites Poole/Wareham/Blandford area ... ever thought about driving just a little further and heading into the Swanage area? Way too much to do to list and some superb sites ... Bur...
