Re: Only Mercedes rims in here!

Hey Titus, don't mean to hijack this thread for problems that people from the UK have never had but: these rims are a straight fit (apart from the nuts/bolts) and are 15" which means your choice of tires is much larger than with the standard 14" ones. Since the load rating in Germany is m...

Melted switch or blown relay? Testing????

Hi.
Long story but I had to drive holding on the high beam flash feature on my stork switch.
After 20 minutes this stopped working.
I've blown or burnt either the switch or the relay.
How can I check which before ordering bits?
Thanks guys.

Re: How to............. Extra spot/driving light wiring.

Cheers for replies.
Anyone got pic of the wires Neil is talking about?
Do you think I should run a fused wire direct from battery for feed?
:ok

How to............. Extra spot/driving light wiring.

Hi guys. I've fitted a light bar with 4 driving/spot lights to the front on my Syncro. Lights are wired and have been fed to behind fuse box. The neutrals are earthed and the lives brought to a heavy duty relay I already had. I'd like to switch driving lights on/off with the highbeam stork switch. Q...

Re: Electrics meltdown.

Blimey, its not that, its just that logic states it is very unusual for 3 separate items to go wrong on same day.
Logically it would seem there would be some common connection. No?

Re: Electrics meltdown.

Rather than going through all this issues one at a time.
Does anyone know of a common feature that could cause all these faults to cascade?
Seems unlikely they are all unconnected.
