Poo plate - What vehicle/where to buy?
Ok my 1Y(X) conversion has the pieces of metal missing that mount between the engine and gearbox. Often referred to at the sh!t or poo plates. Where can I buy these or what vehicle can I get them off?

Silly question but is your van getting up to temperature? I ask as I had a problem with my 1.9D using oil but once I fixed the thermostat (o ring missing) it fixed the problem.

My 2.1 petrol to 1.9 diesel still has the battery under the seat. Though I will say the starter does sound lazy.

will need to do something with water pump pully , have read about changing it so you can run it on the wide belt .. so need to look into that also dont need the powersteering pump as i am running electric pump ... so might be able to drop alternator down as well ? we shall see What pump are you pla...

depends on your engine / year of van. but yes in theory the wire goes straight to the rev counter 86 onward vans with BOD have the wire fitted . ( coil negative) on petrol (w) on diesel the wire runs to the dash for the buzzer Do you have any more details? I have an 86 van thats been converted from...
