Re: Saab Seats for taller/bigger people
Hi again Chris The seats measure around 9 inches to the battery box from the top of the seat squab in my driving position but, using the tilt, this will drop to just under 8 inches Steering wheel is standard bus (17 inch?) and the passenger seat still swivels but we need to spin it in a certain dire...

Re: Saab Seats for taller/bigger people
Hi
I'm 6'1" with longish legs and I have SAAB 9-5 leather seats in at the moment with no issues but I removed the original runners to drop the height a bit
Link to the fitting thread if it helps viewtopic.php?f=38&t=78009

Re: Christmas in our bus Basil
Bravo, maximum respect Mr B. Was your radiator electric? If only I could persuade my Mrs to do a spot of winter camping We often see the mobile gin palaces camping in France in the winter but they have all the bells and whistles. The radiator was a 1.2kw oil filled electric jobie which has three he...

Re: Christmas in our bus Basil
Hi Jed I'm with you re stuff in the van but that was a bad example caused by Christmas over indulgence and being over cautious with the food / drink supplies stocking! We also took an oil radiator for the first time and a small gas heater, plus 10 cartridges, in case we didn't have hook up available...

Replacing Clutch Slave Cylinder
Hi again I was going through some old photographs and came across this one which may help when replacing the slave cylinder If you've ever done one you'll probably found the same as me, getting the bolts back in and the nuts started on the threads is a real pain, especially with sausage fingers! I u...

Re: Christmas in our bus Basil
That's pretty cool. Do you have the roasting pan for your Cadac Safari Chef? If so where did you buy it from as I can't find one anywhere? We couldn't get a roasting pan for the Cadac as we'd left it a bit late in the year and no one had stock but we'd cooked chikens and a beef joint on it without ...

Christmas in our bus Basil
Hi all Mrs B and I headed off Christmas eve towards Norfolk, as planned, but as she had to work that day we only went as far as Orchard Park near Boston because we know this site which has great facilities, room for the awning, and a pub within walking distance The ground was frozen solid so we used...

Re: oil filled radiators
Just thought I'd add to the list! We bought this 1.2 K refurbed one off e-bay and it's great plus it only took a couple of days to arrive As it was refurbed we thought it may be marked or something but there wasn't a scratch on it! Left it on overnight and Mrs B reported a big difference in how thin...
