Re: TSR Subaru conversion - Has anyone had one done?
From personal experience I would go with RJES and Toomany toys. 2.2 I believe is the way to go.
Oh by the way I paid them a £500 deposit before getting bad reports and cancelling they wouldn't return any calls or emails. They also use Jap import engines. I lost my deposit.

Defo go the Aiden gearbox route with the 5th gear. Mine just tickles 3000rpm at 60mph and thats before it comes into the power and kicks off. Oh and mine is just the weedy 125bhp.

Re: Tips on replacing windows/rubbers
Pay someone else to do it. Preferably an expert. It's so much easier and cheaper.

We used one the other weekend when Mrs Pep wanted to use the computer to do some work. No problems worked great! Ours is just a 150w one I think that clips on to the leisure battery.

Re: how fast do you go? petrol boxer 1.9 vroom vroom ..
You want to be cruising at minimum of 60mph on motorways or you are dicing and getting boxed in by lorries. IMHO!

Re: how fast do you go? petrol boxer 1.9 vroom vroom ..
I usually try to keep below 70mph on long trips. If i stick to 65mph I think i'm getting somwhere between 33-35mpg.
Had it off of the vw clock a few times but 107mph on the sat nav once in a different country.
