I won't go into details at the mo but all i can say is a definite NO for the RAC they ended up costing me a fortune to get my van back from France and it was in a worse state than when i left it with them.

All i can say is DON'T under no circumstances go with the RAC we had an absolute nightmare with them,after £1500 and damage done to Herman and my mountain bikes caused by on time recovery (the joke is in the name ) we finally got the van home.

The only place I would recommend is gasure ,but they are in Chester .you could try elite vw there in Essex .but having not used them I can't say how good they are .hope this helps .

No blue smoke only for about 30,seconds on start up ,hopefullt nor rings then,I've just driven up to Chester from watford and it is dripping oil but doesn't seem to have. Used much up .
