Thanks to all for the info, Schofield's it is then, (don't really want a van sponsored by heinz  ). Are genuine panels still available, if so from whom and how do they compare price wise ?
Cheers.

Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of decent panel suppliers? Any difference between Schofield's, JK's etc, quality, price, availability :?: Cheers.

Dash problem ???????

Hi can anyone help? I'm currently converting an '89 panelvan and i need to get a dash for it. I don't know what should be in there(other than a speedo, petrol and temp guage) , but it's a british mkt, Rhd 1.9 petrol. If i can upgrade to a clock, tacho etc, all the better :D . I've been told it...

Most just cut this section out themselves. Mark around the window and add about 8mm for the seal, then use a grinder or jigsaw. Use the old, string round the rubber seal trick, to pop it in. Job done. :D

Cheers for advice, will have a look this weekend. I don't know if it's just me  , but i can't make head nor tail out of the wiring diagrams in the haynes manual. Are the later manuals printed in colour? Haynes motorcycle manuals wiring, seemed a lot easier to understand.

Cooling Fan

Hi, does any one know of a simple way to check a cooling fan, that isn't fitted to a van, is working? Thinking of connecting to a battery somehow, but didn't want to fry anything.
Cheers.

All of the above, or another option, if there's enough of the stud left, is to get 2 nuts on to the stud/bolt, lock them against each other, then try unscrewing the stud using a spanner on the rear nut :D .
