Re: 85 ltr fuel tank

I have seen an 85 ltr tank advertised on a German site, does anyone know if this size tank is available in the UK :?: That would be the South African tank. Any vendor dealing S...

I am using H&R purple springs (lowest they offer) on my 1988 2wd Doka (T25 crewcab). The ride was harsh due to the suspension bottoming on the bumpstops. If you examine the upper shock covers on the from dampers, you wil see that there are 5 washer like discs cast as part of the upper portion of...

Re: Extra Seat

Getting to the point where I think an extra seat would be useful in our van, as increasingly could do to carry that extra person. Just trying to do some research at the moment. Currently have 2 seats up front and 3/4 rock n roll bed. Behind the passenger seat i have a buddy box which holds the loo....

Sorry but something must be getting lost in translation to me. What do you mean "worning"?

Checked with my guy at: www.vanagonparts.com He sells the OEM generic ones as well. Just sent one to Scotland. Cost US$15 for the part plus $14 shipping. That's 15 quid to you. Go figure. These parts no doubt come from the same place J.K. gets it from. BTW, the guy (Jeff) takes Paypal. ____________...

Re: CLK320 wheels on a syncro?

Hi guys I've done some searching and found this link http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3108991 One of the users says he has fitted Merc CLK 320 wheels on his syncro without spacers. Maybe with 205 tyres they'd be allright. Specs of 16x7 with an ET 37 These wheels are cheap enough dow...

$760++! Better get some weights and put on some muscle! I posted here for $300 though. No takers even at that so I sold them to some Kiwi's and Aussies. In the US a ne PS rack will set you back over $1700 outright/no core charge. I had one guy quote NZ$4300 back then. It was not much better in Oz. ...

Hi, My VIN number starts W V 2 Z Z Z 25 which seems strange. Can anyone shed some light on the last 2 Zs? I've double checked and they are not 2s! According to the forum wiki and the webpage http://www.vanagon.com/info/vin/ the last two Zs should be engine series and restraint system. There are als...
