Re: 1.9 diesel starting issues

Thanks Kit
Have traced to the 50amp fuse in the lunch box, which was burnt out. I think this was maybe because a wiring junction was pressing against it. The dash light was coming on which threw me.
Cheers again

AAZ- How much?

What would be a fair price for a medium mileage (130k) AAZ? Service history and well maintained. Cars had a side on until then was in VGC
cheers all

Re: Quick advice please

Isn't there an adjusting screw like on a Golf, not looked at the T3 setup maybe it differs ? Sure is ! As you are looking at the pump from the back of the vehicle its at the bottom of the pump to the LHS. Not a whole lot of adjustment on it so you may need to take the bolt out to get your belt on. ...

Doka-sliding windows

Anyone happen to know the exact size of the window frame?

I have a caravelle slider and I'm going to have a go at cutting it down to fit in the doka. The slider measures 428mm high so need to know the width which I think will be somewhere in between 635 and 640mm.
thanks all !

Got some good info from BY about cleaning all the earthing points starting with the starter motor- thoroughly clean the starter where it mounts to g/box...
