hi. taken the fuel tank off, 1.6 diesel. forgot how i replace the sender. i think stem to 12.o clock and then a a quarter turn to three
o clock ? is this correct ?

hello people.my lights over the clocks, on the dash, will not work. I have tried all i know and still no luck.
i cannot see the clocks when its dark so i am desperate, dan, so if there is anybody out there had a similar
problem or a solution?

hi wayne. as the previous guy said and also check the bolts that go through the c/v joints.
if these have not been driven home with a air gun then they can work loose and rattle, then come off.
check behind wheel in the box.

hi. thanks for that. the only diference is that i had the injectors referbed. from this i presumed that the extra effort on the pump means that it is not performing as it should.

hi. i tested the glow plugs are working by taking out the injectors and visually seeing them glow. i intended to test the compression on the pots however the s/picavant tester does not fit. do you know if there is a addapter that fits between the large thread on the block and the small thread on the...

hello people. 1600 diesel. huge clouds of smoke when i try and turn it on, needless to say it refuses. tested. the things people suggested choke, glo plugs. timing. injectors. all o/k. however now coming to the injector pump ,aagh. anyone know how i can test it ? what happens when this goes? lastly....

as said. i have white/ gray smoke on starting, afterwards it seems to run o/k. it is a 1600 non turbo diesel 1982.
i have changed the injectors and it is still the same.
does anyone out there have any ideas.
