Your 'sensor' wire is the aerial lead for the stereo
No idea about the ground, new to all this myself, but grounds are usally better bolted to something :D

I did leave it overnight before refilling the oil as I had to go out
I can't drive her at the minute as she's not got an mot etc, will it go away idling on the drive do we think?

Tapping after oil change
I've recently bought a van i'm doing a mild resto on, she's been sat for 10 years The engine however ran like a sewing machine. I've just changed the oil, and it was very clean, but seemed quite thin to me as it came out I put in Halfords 20w50 classic mineral oil and changed all the filters etc Now...
