diesel injector pipes
I need to replace the diesel pipes from the pump to the injectors on a JX engine. Are the pipes the same shape /length irrespective of the manufactured date of the engine?

The engine on my 1.6TD occasionally continues to rev at around 1500 revs with the van in neutral and no throttle. If I put it in gear and gently let out the clutch and then return to neutral the revs drop to normal tick over and remain there with no problem. I have checked the cable and throttle lev...

Re: Bleeding clutch master cylinder?
Thanks for all your replies - it is now sorted - I took off the master cylinder and released the piston to allow air to escape. It just goes to show that if you don't know what your doing its a fine way to spend the day!

Bleeding clutch master cylinder?
I have had to replace the clutch master cylinder but I can't get any pressure on the pedal after refilling the reservoir. Having read some previous postings I tried using an eezibleed which popped the top off the reservoir and sprayed the interior and gravity bleeding - 3 hrs with no fluid movement....

Re: 1.6 tdi loss of power
Thanks to those who responded - the answer was the rubber priming pump which had been fitted by a previous owner had a small split which was allowing air into the fuel line.

1.6 tdi loss of power
just got back from a 6o mile round trip on the motorway and during the return journey the engine suddenly lost power not being capable of doing more than 2200 revs in fifth gear. Any slight incline slowed the van considerably and occasionally there was a slight misfire? . There was no evidence of sm...

water/battery indicator display
My water/battery indicator display which is on the front of the cooker no longer works. None of the lights come on an it appears dead as a dodo. I have checked the fuse which is ok. Can someone suggest a solution to get it functioning again?
Many thanks

I have just changed the alternator which had been indicating low/no charge on the warning light, and the rev counter been had not showing an increase in engine speed, just tick over revs. Following the replacement the warning light is fine but the rev counter still does not show increases in engine ...
