My van has the same problem. i havent been able to solve it either. if you do sort it out. let me know how so i can have a go.

How much is it to get the conversion done on your van?

I have found two good engines in cars that im thinking of buying. one is out of a polo (aef) engine and the other is from a golf with a (1y) engine. Which is easier to fit?

My van is a 1.6.

Does anyone know if the 1.9 diesel engine in a vw vento would fit in easily to my 1.6 t25?

I dont know the engine code sorry. Its a 96 model.


Also ive been looking for the post that tells you the cars to look for to do this conversion. Can anyone point me to that message?

Does anyone know if there is such a place to store campervans. Ive heard places take in caravans when there not in use through the winter.

Problem i have is my vans imobile and its on the road and the tax is due to run out end october. I dont have anywhere to store it to get a sorn declaration.

All 4 of my tyres need replacing. Especially now since two of them have been slashed!

Im thinking of getting some bigger wheels. I have the 175s on now.

If i want bigger tyres do i need to buy the rimms too?

Does anyone know a good supplier to get some from and what sizes should i go for?

Whilst on my first day of my 2 week holiday i drove all the way to cornwall (5 hours driving) and i broke down. Thats what i think i will do. Do you know if i can buy the braket that fixes to the guttering of the van. if i could get the clamps i can easily make something from that.

I need the ones that bolt onto the side of the van. Do you reckon i could modify these to do that?

Yes, its the J-bars i want that you bolt on to the side of your van. I think will end up making some of my own as nowehre seems to sell them now.

Any ideas?
