Well I’ve just been up and started her and it was quieter and driven a good 1hr and the sound has completely gone so well pleased. Thanks for the help guys

If the vans been sat for a week or more a tappets bled down as Rob said, take it for a drive. If you use it all the time and its doing it, might be worth checking the valve adjusters to make sure one isnt damaged/backed off or not adjusted right. Tyre size choices
I’m looking at a set of wheels in 15inch 5.5 for my T25 and need advice on tyre size for not rubbing and also to look right. I gather I’m looking for 175 or 185s but it’s the ratio I’m not sure on. Anyone know if the kits are still avilible ? Got a 82 air cooled with a couple of damaged lines on the ribbon. See a few after market replacements but very expensive. Only thing I’m really missing is dash lights

So going smaller with the 70s might be ok. Specially if I lower it one day. Very little over a mile in terms of extra rotation when I went on a calculator app

Been struggling to find 185/75/14 locally here in Mid Wales. Can get 185/70/14 and wondering if it would really effect the ratio that much.
