Re: Gearstick extension question

Do you want to make a dramatic positive change - buy one of Silver Bullets gearsticks.

I've got one in my camper and it's fantastic.
I drove my Pritsche last week with the standard stick, it's like stirring porridge.

Re: Help needed: fuel leak filler pipe seal to tank. Chester

I have found that the new seals are either a bit too hard or a bit too small which often leads to leaks. This can be exaggerated when you fit a new fuel tank, they seem to be made off slightly thinner metal. Either keep and refit the old seal or find am alternative. I also have to drop my tank and s...

...if the are TUV approved it should be detailed on the approval cert. If it's just a TUV just for the materials then it's pretty much meaningless certification

None of the adaptors are TüV approved, they just have the meaningless material certification.

Yes. I viewed same recently , Titus. The fine weather this year warrants such a modification. Future use? Who knows ...

I smell a project for my new 3d printer.

Anyone fitted electric fans to the roof vent?

I saw something somewhere, someone had fitted 3 computer fans on a frame that day in the roof vent opening. I think it would work.

Re: 3D Printers

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

I think I'm going to have a play with a 3d printer.

I've got it down to three choices:

Artillery Genius
Creality 3d
Creality 5d

Is anyone else on here into them?

Re: Camping box project

I've got an Eisbär 3 way coolbox which is more than big enough for food and a few beers, plus it's tall enough to take a bottle of wine stood up.
I normally leave it outside the sliding door coupled up to the underfloor gastank. It does what it says on the tin.
