Re: Black smoke on acceleration.
Any help on this fellow van folk? Checked turbo out, awaiting a gauge now. Any way of double checking injectors are good without removing? Worried the fresh injector nozzles might be the problem.🤨 Can hit 700 degrees egt’s on a hard run, which is worrying on a not tuned van. Any suggestions much app...

Black smoke on acceleration.
Hi all, thanks for any help in advance. So 1.9TD Aaz vanny. Replaced head gasket, valve stem seals, injector nozzles (pop tested to within 5bar or each other and 150 bar set) general clean up of everything. Now after rebuilding the van smokes a bit of black smoke on throttle (constantly when acceler...

Re: Auxiliary water pump wire
Just wanted to update everyone that pitched it. Thank you all for your help. You have all been an absolute godsend. Van is up and running and all working well. The coolant tanks (both!) Have been setup as per factory, metal flange on rear of engine installed with standard auxiliary water pump sensor...

Re: Auxiliary water pump wire
Thank you for coming back to me.. picture shows that area- one single sensor there but it has a wire going into it. Nothing on the coolant outlet flange? Is this the wrong part? I must admit I’ve seen some with an m10 thread through the size. https://i.imgur.com/5Ijjv6N.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/iyJR...

Re: Auxiliary water pump wire
Bump, any luck on a simpler explanation for me please @ T25boy71? I’ve also come to a potential verdict. Couldn’t possibly have the wrong coolant outlet on the engine, one without the temp sensor hole that now has the coolant line deleting the expansion tank so it doesn’t p**s coolant everywhere? I’...

Re: Auxiliary water pump wire
Hi what do you mean by added bump please mate and I’ll let you know. Any info on where the brown and red wire might go to on your engine? Do you have any additional sensor that I don’t seem to have? Thanks in advance! Appreciate all the help I’ve had from the great forum members. Loving the T25 comm...

Re: Auxiliary water pump wire
The single sensor (green colour! has all 4 wires going into it (4 connector positions, hence the confusion as to where the mystery aux pump sensor goes) all 4 taken by the colours mentioned on my last post 🤷 Thanks for clarifying what each colour does. Maybe I just need to buy the metal manifold and...

Re: Auxiliary water pump wire
Sorry this is the first diesel I’ve ever worked on so I’m not exactly certain of the terminology’s! 😅 As for the sensor in the location that you circled, there is one but the wires going in to it are: Yellow/red; Blue/white; Brown/white x 2 wires. The engine looks like an AAZ to me, but im not by an...

Re: Auxiliary water pump wire
Thanks again Aidan. How do I upload photos please? I’m working on the van tomorrow, so I’ll come back to you once I have a look. The only plug that looks free seems to be on the throttle body. (I.e not in or near the pipes in the pic that you’ve sent) My engine bay looks a little bit different to th...
