Has anyone on here fitted a solar panel on a westy pop top?
If so I’m interested in how you went about it?
The current option I’m considering is the brackets to put roof bars on the pop top then bolting a panel to that.

Does anyone have an arb awning mounted with camper van culture gutter mount brackets? I’ve just fitted some to my westy to hold a arb shower tent and everything doesn’t sit right I’m wondering if I’ve made a simple mistake somewhere https://i.imgur.com/h8IEMnK.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/iN2gxkM.jpeg h...

Power steering pump
I’ve a 1.9 TDi Passat engine in my van
Despite fitting a new belt and making sure it’s tensioned correctly
It slips the belt and squeals at full lock even when moving and turning.
Does anyone have any pointers please
Is there a bigger pump available if this one’s struggling?

Westfalia Atlantic rear lights

Are these the original rear lights for a 1990 westfalia Atlantic?
They have a black plastic section between the lamp and number plate that other t 25s don’t have.

Re: Westfalia tow bar wiring
With the left hand indicator on I’m getting a voltage on the black wire with a white line in the vehicle loom That’s connected to the yellow wire on the tow bar loom So that seems correct Yet when testing voltages on the tow bar plug there’s no voltage on pin one which should be left hand indicator ...

Re: Westfalia tow bar wiring
I’ve had a look today and found a pile of bullet connectors behind the lhs rear light housing. I doubt that’s how it was originally done but it’s what I’ve got to work with now. I’ve pulled apart each connector and cleaned it up of corrosion The trailer still isn’t playing ball The indicators on the...

Westfalia tow bar wiring
Would the tow bar socket on a German import westfalia be wired the same as a uk trailer plug?
I connected my trailer up today and the lights are not functioning properly
I tested the trailer on my daily drive and all the lights work fine
So obviously the problem lies with the van.

Re: Tyre load rating
The only thing I can think it to move to a 215/50 and you'll find a 95 rated and that should also be the same diameter as the 245/45, I'd imagine you have a 8.5J on the back and 7J on the front with them tyre sizes Will changing to a 215 on the front cause it to catch anywhere? There’s not much cl...
