Re: Any decent body shops not too far from Telford?

Would very highly recommend Midlands Paintwerks. Check them out on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/Midlandpaintwerks-144882895669437/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Replaced a rear corner for me after I reversed into a wall (!) and sorted one or two other minor issues i...

Re: wondering whether to swap the high top for a poptop

thanks for the replies, its a tough call, me and the wife stayed in a great campsite in the Cairngorns a few winters ago, was -15 outside, but we were ok in the van,, I expect a pop top could have been a bit more chilly with the roof up, Swings and round abouts type thing, is it hard to remove a hig...

Re: wondering whether to swap the high top for a poptop

Here we go again. I love having pop tops. I had a T2 one before this one. It's personal choice. Hi tops have more storage space, but when the pop top is up it is much higher like sleeping in a tent and doesn't have the claustrophobic feel that high tops have, so I've been told. The high top can be ...

wondering whether to swap the high top for a poptop

Hi, I was wondering whether I should take off the hightop and fit a pop top. My van is a daily driver, occasional camper when we get time, several restricted height places around where I live near Ironbridge. I would miss the space etc but would like the reduced height Basically is it more hassle th...

Re: Help! changed the cluctch now i cannot select 2nd or 4th

Sorted, It was obvious in the light of day what I had done was bolt the bit on the side of the gearbox behind rather than in front. thanks for the help. I am not much of a regular here any more but it very reassuring to know this forum is here.

cheers,, Josh

Re: Help! changed the cluctch now i cannot select 2nd or 4th

I will have a look tomorrow first thing, do you mean the bit that bolts to the gearbox with 2 bolts and has bellows either side. it should go on the side that is closer to the front of the van.?

thanks

Help! changed the cluctch now i cannot select 2nd or 4th

Hi, I changed the clutch on my '88 1.9dg (using the wiki and haynes for reference) as it was slipping , and I have a wedding in wales to go to on Saturday. I must have knocked or buggered up something because now it wont go into 2nd or 4th. when looking at the bit on the side of the gearbox that sel...

Re: rock and roll bed / lpg tank

HI I have a 70odd ltr tank under my rr bed. Gassure Steve though we may have to move the bed a bit, but in the end it all fitted in without any mods to the bed. It may depend on if the bed goes 'flat' onto the engine bay or if there is a storage bit over the engine bay which raises the bed a bit che...
