Hi Dave, I'm 2 hours west of Sevilla, on border with Portugal. Can't believe that the crankshaft pulley bolt broke a second time after two years no problems. That was after new crankshaft fittedthe last time. This time the damage not so severe. I'll give them a ring, cheers.

I'm living in Spain, and my van is in the garage with 4 bent exhaust valves due to crankshaft pulley bolt failure. Anyone know where I can get some more valves? VW don't make them anymore, none at Brickwerks or JK either.

Anyone got any lying around they might part with??

No, I'm not sure it can't be fixed. Got no time - garage quote 600euros to remove and strip down - will need new crank shaft (I guess, if pulley snapped off).
