wheels

hi i have a pair of wheels with 225/70/15 tyres fitted,i used them to gear my van up and they worked a treat.they are on merc rims that bolt straight on with a pair of vw trims.if interested bell me on 07828834567.

rear lock

hi i think if you remove the rear panel from the door and look at the mechanism you can attach a cable to the lock and feed it through the panel so it can be pulled inside the van.have a play with the lock and you should see which part needs to be pulled.

westy leisure battery

ok today i fitted one of those optima dual purpose batteries to my westy.now my van is a lhd diesel with the leisure battery under the drivers seat (with swivel)although it sits a bit high it just clears the swivel part and as i never turn the drivers seat it seems fine.i packed the sides with cardb...

you will be needing a diesel bellhousing to go on your gearbox and a diesel starter which is different to the petrol one.

if you have a 1.9d with the origonal exhaust manifold the one in the pic has been made up.can you see any joins? you will be better of going to an exhaust specialist to have one made to fit or do what i did and use the exhaust that came with the engine.

just found some LED lights in my local electrical shop,they are called osram dot-it.they are small and round and quite bright with a sticky back so are easy to fit almost anywere in your van.do a search on ebay for a pic.
