So I connected up as bottom to pump out , middle to a container , and sure enough the fuel came throu...

Re: Pierburg Carb Vapour Canister

In the wiki I didn't spot the link to the Gower and Lee website before  . I've ask them if they have a swirl pot. I do suspect that I have the plumbing wrong, although it' s been fine until now. I've tested it, bypassing and going straight to the carb. Anyone know which pipe goes to top,middle...

Re: Pierburg Carb Vapour Canister

It's a plastic thing sits beside the carb, has pipes from fuel pump, fuel tank vent and a fuel pipe to the carb. I didn't know what is was called until I looked at the Pierburg wiki.

Re: Alternator Voltage Drop

Yes the charge light is on all the time , has gone off a few times , was wondering if is a bad connection on the windings , Thanks very much for your advice folks. Will try the regulator first, if this doesn't work then surgery will be done.

Alternator Voltage Drop

Hi I have an Alternator problem , when I measure the voltage on the battery (not leasure) it's about 12.5V (recently been fully charged), when I start the engine with nothing switched on , the voltage drops to 10.5V. Could a fault in the regulator cause a drop as well as a rise? away from the usual ...

Re: Front wheel tracking

Yes I think i'll will , I think my trust of garages or more to the point the cowboy's who work there is'nt that good. I've had experience of things like over filling of oil , loose nuts and bolts and other irritating bit's and bobs :x . Still cannot tar all with the same brush

Front wheel tracking

Hi

Any know of a garage in North London or Herts that can do the correct tracking for my Syncro. Although I haven't used my local garages for my Syncro before , i'd prefer to take it to someone who knows about these vans..
