what's the difference in front stub axel's?
Hi all, anyone tell me the difference between the stub axels on a upto 84 and the rest as there are 2 types of front wheel bearing and my van is on the cusp (nov 84) and has most of the late model equip but l'm having trouble with bearings and was wondering whether l had the right 1's,the brakes are...

are pug 1.9 td's hard to fit?
Hi all,my 1.9 1y is on it's last legs and it's time 4 a change,l've been offerd a 1.9 td out of a pug 405 low mileage and very cheap,l've never looked into fitting a pug as l allways fit vw diesels in various forms 1.6,1.9 td/na,l need to know is it a load of hassle and what needs changing cheers.

l've seen some nice leather seats in a rover 600 in the scrappy can anyone tell me if the bottom runners are removable or are they welded to the floor pan?.cheers.

Front wheel bearing gone after 12mnths
l fitted new wheel bearings 12 mnths ago and the offside has gone already,l did lower and stiffen the suspension at the same time and the caster/camber is slightly out, is this the problem or was it just a dodgy bearing as the other side is fine + anyone bought the justkampers front bearing kit is i...

check the return/feed to pump,check that the feed bolt has 2 large hole's in it, if there not marked up(IN/OUT) it's easy to mix um up.

popped into volksmagic they have told me the door is a later 1 and they have the latch £25 so not to bad cheers all.

Hi all,l have a B reg 1984 bus and am a bit confused as l need a sliding door latch and assumed l had the early door pre 1985 only to be told my door is the later 1, can someone enlighten me on the difference between the 2 + l have never been happy with the way my anti rollbar link arms sit they see...

cheers all,have taken the latch apart theres a pressure fitted washer that stops the catch from moving sideways mine's shagged l've hammerd it down and it's done the trick, the door stays shut but l can't use the door so will have go hunting for 1,if anyone hears of 1 for sale can ya give me the nod...
