Handbrake all to "cock"
Hi there, I went to adjust the handbrake and found the 2 into 1 cable compensator is at a right jaunty angle. https://i.imgur.com/eWdxKUt.jpeg Before I proceed, I thought I'd just ask those who are more experienced if this is a tell tale sign of any one particular thing. I give the benefit of the do...

Re: 2.0L CU Aircooled. Bad oil leak after running a 500 mile trip overfilled
Oh, and I'm replacing the pump to carb cracked fuel lines this aft.
Strangely, I can't see a fuel regulator in the fuel line post pump, which I gather is pretty essential with the twin 34 ict's

Re: 2.0L CU Aircooled. Bad oil leak after running a 500 mile trip overfilled
Hi there, just to finish off here. The oil pressure switch was the main oil leak, followed by a lesser, but noticeable leak from the left rocker cover. I'm pretty sure that's got on top of it. I pressure washed the engine from underneath and there doesn't appear to be any freshly leaked oil around. ...

Re: 2.0L CU Aircooled. Bad oil leak after running a 500 mile trip overfilled
Sorry, I will get back to this, but not gotten any further with things as a good friend is very sick, taken in to hospital, emergency op etc. I'm pretty sure the pressure switch was leaking quite badly, and didn't realise how badly until I removed the air cooling rubber boot from around it. I haven'...

Re: 2.0L CU Aircooled. Bad oil leak after running a 500 mile trip overfilled
The question ( that you maybe wont know the answer to until you have done more miles ) is , is it now loosing oil , has the newly corrected level on the stick dropped ? With a wbx if you over fill it it will burn , condensate , magically remove the extra oil in a remarkably quick time to where it n...

2.0L CU Aircooled. Bad oil leak after running a 500 mile trip overfilled
After running a few hundred miles grossly overfilled with oil (I won 't try reading the dipstick without my glasses again  ), I noticed there were a few more drips of oil than the usual very minimal amount I was accustomed to. I took off the excess oil so it's been running with a normal level...

Re: Solar, MPPT, Zig CF6, 2nd battery compatibility, t25 2L CU
I removed the battery feed from the ZIG and put it on the MPPT battery side and put the output of the MPPT back into the ZIG. Hi mate, I'm not quite sure how the zig works really . I knows it charges the car battery off EHU, and works as a power distributer to the various outputs, but not s...

Re: Solar, MPPT, Zig CF6, 2nd battery compatibility, t25 2L CU
you have ~30% inverter loss going from 12V to 240v , so going with a 12v Fridge will be more energy efficient. My system just uses an old Lead battery at present. the solar goes into the MPPT , I removed the battery feed from the ZIG and put it on the MPPT battery side and put the output of the MP...

Solar, MPPT, Zig CF6, 2nd battery compatibility, t25 2L CU
Hi, I have an '82 t25 2L CU high top camper with a zig CF6, only one starter battery, but there are the cables for the leisure battery (under passenger seat). I want to fit a 100-130w flexible solar panel with a MPPT controller (victron 75/15?), and a new leisure battery, the power of which being th...
