Haven't managed to get a clean line with masking tape to date. Tend to find paint bleeds under the edges. Will give it a go with extra careful masking. Thanks [emoji106]

Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!

Interested in tips on painting the big bumper black stripes. I think masking tape won't get a good enough line? Thinking about vinyl wrap. This is after rollering the rest of the bumper white.
Thanks

Coolant rail clip.

Putting my van back together so loads of questions at the moment. Current issue is cooling system and trying to source plastic clips that hold the metal coolant rail that runs on 3 sides just beneath the engine lid. https://www.google.com/search?q=255121046&oq=25&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j35i39j69i...

Re: Fuel pipe size

Thanks for all the info. I've put the pump about 100mm from the tank so may have to move it along a bit to get the adaptor in.

Fuel pipe size

I ordered some 8mm 100% ethanol fuel hose for a DG but have found the connector on the tank to be much larger diameter. I've also fitted an electric fuel pump with a 8mm inlet prefilter. I need a reducer hose from the larger tank outlet (14mm I think) to 8mm. Something doesn't seem right as what I'm...

T4 Diesel help

My father in law's 2.5D T4 has lost power, noticeable at speed, it doesn't go up hills anymore. He's been told it's either the turbo, injectors or injector pump amounting to £2k of parts. Does anyone know a good specialist in the Midlands who can help diagnose the problem. Thanks Sent from my Moto G...

Re: tailgate

Hi is it always preferable to remove the tailgate leaving the hinges attached? Likely to be a one man job and it looks easier to get at the hex bolts. Thanks. I removed mine on my own with hinges attached. It's heavy and 2 people would have been much easier. It helps if you take the glass out first...

Re: Got an electric fuel pump on a DG or DF?

Hi, I'm planning on fitting a facet poziflow pump but unclear about the regulator. Assume I need one though as up to 6 PSI at the carb seems high and risking leaks. Any experiences of this setup welcome. Thanks Mark dont waste money when you can just use a cheap facet pump which wont need a regulat...

Re: Cutting out issue.

I had similar symptoms and it was the hall sender unit on the dizzy. Trouble is they're not "change it just in case" price but worth a try if you've got a known good one.

Re: Gearbox front Bush replacement

Thanks. I've only found Powerflex in two pieces. Can't see why that bush needs to be stiffer?

Brickwerks do a 1 piece bush for 1/2 the price. Just wanted to know if it can be fitted without a press?

Thanks

Gearbox front Bush replacement

Mine is off the van and looks like the original. It's OK but starting to part slightly. I'm planning to replace it but is the replacement pressed in or can it be done with a vice etc at home? Thanks, can't find any previous posts which suggests not many gay changed? Mark Sent from my Moto G (5) usin...
