Re: Forward where reverse should be.
Thanks, its a 5 speed as stated at head of post. I have read many of the related posts and hoped to find out which way the adjustment needs to be made. Im partially disabled at the moment and have to drive to a hospital appointment Tuesday, so I was hoping to spend as little time under it as possibl...

Forward where reverse should be.
Hi all. 1984 5 speed 1.6 Clutch slave slowly died, before it gave up the ghost it was obviously difficult to select fist and particularly reverse. New slave installed and bled. Reverse is now a forward gear! I believe that when I was "forcing" it into reverse previously it compromised the ...

Re: Caravelle heater duct to rear
Thanks, found a diagram that showed 4 screws there but in fact it was just hooked under the bulkhead lip and no screw holes. It would be a real pig to get it out as all my solar control gear is there and leisure battery etc. So going to cut the rear 300mm off, which will allow me the drop the batter...

Caravelle heater duct to rear
RESOLVED it was hooked under the front ducts and a lip at the rear bulkhead. Hi, I need to remove the Caravelle heater duct that passes between the seats (gearlever service and carpet fitting). I have loosened the two obvious vertical screws towards the front but it seems firmly fixed still. Can any...

Combined whitewall trims and trim rings
Hi, bought a set of these, went to mount them today and its not clear if the whitewall is intended to clip to the trim ring or wheel in anyway. They are not intended to seat under the tyre bead which is why I opted for them. https://bus-ok.nl/Type2-split-bay-and-T25-Whitewall-Trims-Set-with-stainles...

Running Cibie spotlights off leisure battery.
Ive got some dipping Cibies that I will run off relays linked to the original wiring for switching. However rather than run a large live all the way back to the engine battery by the engine, it occured to me that it would be easier to go to the leisure battery under the seat.. Any reasons why not? S...

Stub axle and thrust washer conundrum
Firstly HI and thanks for letting me join............. I have an April 1985 (changeover year) Caravelle. Today's mission was complete new front brakes. I discovered I have early calipers and later stub axles. Managed to get later bearings as outer has 3mm ID difference. All went well until final sta...
