Hi guys, recently picked up some cavalier mk2 gte recaros for my caravelle. Unfortunately the previous owners welded some mk2 fiesta seats onto the seat rail so I was wondering has anyone else fitted these recaro lx style seats and how have you done so? thanks

Ok, the manifold heater wire is the big red one , then all the thin black ones daisychain to the idle bypass solenoid, carb heater and choke . The label you have that says temp gauge in pipe is infact the trigger wire for the manifold heater relay in the black box and needs to go to the second swit...

You got them wrong. The first black wire needs to connect to the carb itself, You've got it plugged into the manifold heater. https://i.imgur.com/ml6xTI6.jpeg Needs to connect there.
