We've got an 89 Westy California, just been taxed in sept was £185/12 months. Insurance just over £300 for both of us, although the other half doesn't like driving it (lhd). what model westy are lookin at?

My vans a 89 German import, was registered with no probs(as far as i know)and has been through 2 mots. Nobodys mention owt about it, does this mean legally it should be changed to mph? Only want to know out of interest as it doesn't really matter to me either way

Used it on kitchen cupboard doors in my first flat, looked not to bad, but took ages. wish i could have afforded Fablon! Would have been much quicker.

We got the £20 ones from VW Heritage, seem to be good quality, plenty chrome on them. was advised not to buy the
cheapies (dad in motor trade) as they wouldn't last long

I've been removing the tint film off the side windows, but the glue stays firmly stuck to the glass. Used a stanley blade to scrape glue off, but don't know what to use on the rear window as i don't want to damage the rear heated screen. Have bought a fair bit of stuff from JK,never had any probs with campin stuff or deliveries but your right some of the VW goods not the best
