Re: Does a Just Kampers exhaust fit?
Thanks again for your tips, chaps. My local VW van outlet (Eurovans Brighton) says the part was "dropped without supercession" in Aug 07 and no stock is available either at the factory or in the dealer network. Eurovans can order them at £88.28 + VAT (each!) but the factory in Germany can'...

Re: Does a Just Kampers exhaust fit?
Thanks chaps. VW Heritage do a kit but it doesn't include the part number 025251186. It's a right angle knuckle joint that lifts the silencer up under the rear valance - one on each side connecting to the manifold and heat exchanger pipes. My VW specialist garage (Pfeiffers in Hove) can source all t...

Does a Just Kampers exhaust fit?
Anyone know whether the Just Kampers exhaust for T25s up to '85 (http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_25/type-25-original-vehicle-parts/exhaust/manifold-pipes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) fits. I've got an 85 model first registered in March with the early style silencer ...

Duff diff locks - Am I bovvered?
I've got a 1985 LHD Syncro Kombi converted to a camper with front and rear diff locks but have only ever managed to engage the front locks once since I bought it a year ago. Thankfully, they disengaged as well. On all other occasions, the diffs haven't come on when operating the front dash switches....

Tyre pressures
Just consulted my Haynes manual for '82-90 Transporters that lists five tyre sizes:
175 R 14 C: 41psi (front)/48psi(rear
185 R 14 C: 38/55
185 SR 14 Reinforced: 33/42
185 SR 14 C 6PR: 39/48
205/70 R 14: 30/36.
Hope that's clear (as mud!).

Tyre pressures
Coincidentally, I asked the same question at my independent VW garage yesterday and was told 40psi at the front and 50 at the rear. Who's right?

Sussex Syncro specialists
Anyone know of a Syncro specialist within spitting distance of Brighton? Currently using an independent VW specialist garage but it seems to be a bit out of its league when it comes to a 1985 T25 Syncro.
Cheers,

Carburettor pull open unit
Anyone know where I can get a pull open unit (new or 'reclaimed') for a Pierburg 2E carburettor on a 1985 T25 Syncro? My independent VW garage says the part number is 025129220B but it is no longer available.
Thanks.
