it's the best in terms of strength and performance but it's a lot of hassle to fit in terms of mating it to the engine. You can't flip the diff, the way the audi casting is done dictates that the diff will only go in one way. You could flip the box upside down but then you still need an adapter so you may as well go for the porsche box which is stronger anyway.

Thanks for all the advice, reckon I'll stick with the V6 as i have it anyway. Reckon I can pinch a couple of inches off the deck height by lowering the engine and box a smidge.

It'll do anyway until a bi-turbo shows up...

1.8t engine angle

Has anyone ever fitted a vw/audi 1.8 turbo into a t25, if so can you crank it over to the same angle as a diesel or do you have to run it upright?
