I spent days buggering around with mine checking and re checking everything. Turned out the dial on the thermostat control was not engaging and thus not controlling the thermostat, as it was set to cold on the minimum setting. :ok

Need to pop the windows out for repainting the van. Can anyone advise how they are removed and the best way to replace. is it best to cut the rubbers and replace with new rubbers and how much force can i use when pushing them out and back in? I have removed glass before and replaced, just a bit scar...

2L Aircooled

Have a complete one and possibly for sale, good condition and cruises at 70mph, all the tinware, carbs etc, new exhaust and good heat exchangers . Just done a round trip to lands end with no problems.
