Re: Speedometer, fuel gauge, temp gauge not working

I tried replacing the 10V TCA700Y voltage regulator on the back of the dash with a L78S10CV one, but that didn't work.

Any suggestions for where I should look next? How do I know the blue foil is not simply degraded?

It has two angled joints which are fused/melted together.

Did you buy it or make it?

Sliding door trim

What does the trim/threshold on your sliding door look like? I just put a new floor in and am a bit stuck for ideas on how to trim the end near the sliding door. I know there are several pre-made options available but I find them a bit expensive, except if I opted for the plastic version, which prob...

Re: Are these rock 'n roll hinges?

Floorboard panels are 'different'. Mmm, what do you mean by different? Are you saying if I fitted different panels, I could make it work (=move the couch backwards a little)? Well, they do seem a little overkill when it's common to use 3mm ply/hardboard but heh, who am I to judge? I doubt anything ...

Re: Are these rock 'n roll hinges?

Look identical to r&r hinges that I fitted in my sprinter years ago. They work perfectly alright. Maybe realign the boards but I guess whoever fitted them looked at them carefully. I'm thinking if it could be because of the blocks he used underneath the boards or that he fit them in the wrong p...

Re: Are these rock 'n roll hinges?

Could be from a fold out sofa bed, the plywood base boards should end up close together when the bed is opened out flat. I would buy some new hinges and do a proper job, it looks a bit naf. You could well be right. The base boards don't seem to get any closer when opening the bed. I've thought abou...

Are these rock 'n roll hinges?

Hi. I just bought a T3/T25 and I'm looking to do some work on it. The former owner seems to have put the bed forwards quite a bit with regards to the original setup. When used as a sofa, the distance between the back of the seat and the higher part where the motor is, is about 15 cm. I believe in th...

Speedometer, fuel gauge, temp gauge not working

Hi. I recently bought a T25 and the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and temp gauge are not working. The warning lights do work. Could this be one simple electrical problem? I read in other threads that it could be a faulty voltage regulator, but the previous owner told me he thinks the speedometer...
