Hi, i just did an engine conversion from 1.6 jx to 1.9 aaz. Ran great for 2,000 mls, now i,ve lost all oil pressure which seems like the vacuum pump has stopped driving the oil pump.I used the jx sump, and a new jx oil pump to match the sump. Hi, 1.6 td, my axiliary water pump is staying on and running the battery down, is there a relay somewhere that should shut the water pump down once the coolant has cooled down? or is there something else controlling the pump? any advice appreciated

Hi just finished my type 25 AAZ conversion, with the aaz crank and serpentine pulley,i want to fit an alternator with a clutched pulley to eliminate the dreaded crank bolt loosening, what alternator would be best suited to this setup? Many thanks Pete

Hi, on the last leg of my aaz conversion from jx 1.6, trying to mount the original jx cylinder air filter the brickwerks way,but it sits on top of the aaz inlet manifold flange and won,t go any lower! how do i get round this? also how do i fit the big hose from the jx turbo to the aaz inlet manifold...

Just stripped down the injector pump and it,s absolutely cream- crackered and the injectors are the same! help! any alternatives? need a running pump and injectors for the aaz, or are there other 1.9 diesel pump and injector alternatives from other cars? grateful for any advice,thanks

The pump has not been stored full of fuel,that’s why i,m worried about it being gummed up,thanks for replies

Hi, the AAZ diesel pump i’m using on my engine conversion has been on the donor engine, standing for about a year, it turns ok but i,m a bit worried it might be a bit gummed up inside. Thinking of fitting an oil pressure and oil temperature gauge to my Camper when the AAZ conversion is finished.Where would i tap into the engine for the temperature gauge wire or pipe? and where would i connect in for the oil pressure wire or pipe? Thanks for any reply
