Re: Help! - No idle, engine cutting out
There's a rubber bit that links the top of the filler neck to the petrol cap and it perishes. Mine was actually split all the way round. Did you change that when you replaced the tank? I'm sure there was a post by Simon Baxer about it somewhere, but I can't find it.

Re: vwspeedshop exhaust
Keep an eye on the tightness of the Lambda plug (if that's what it's called). I lost mine in Paris after tightening it up at least 3 times. Luckily the boys from the French equivalent of Halfords found it was the same size as the sump plug from a Citroen (IIRC). This has been in place ever since (ov...

Re: Replacement water pipe
Thanks for the replies. Did try VW, but may have clouded the issue by saying plastic pipe.

Replacement water pipe
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for the pipe in the images below? It's for a 1.9 DG I've tried the wanted section. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/wag-wag/pipe-1.jpg http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/wag-wag/pipe-3.jpg Close up here http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...

Re: Planning a French trip - recommendations please
We booked Bel through the campsite themselves. It is Keycamp/Eurocamp but there is a seperate tent/camper/caravan area. There were Dutch, Brits, German and French on the site. It wasn't a roudy place. Nice, quiet and Friendly.

Re: Anyone on here been to Le Tranche sur mer in France??
:D There's a supermarket in the opposite direction to the beach (again less than 5 mins walk) with a couple of other shops around it. A baker's van came round every morning with fresh bread and croissants. We did swim in the sea, but it is the Atlantic, so it's nippy and choppy. There are quite a fe...

Re: Anyone on here been to Le Tranche sur mer in France??
We stopped at Camping Bel for a few nights last year on our French tour. It's a Key-Camp but with separate areas for vans/tents/etc. It was a nice friendly little site with a pool for the kids.
