Where would they connect externally... when I get the fusebox out I might have better sight of where they go.

I've wired in a external fuse and relay to get it working again for now - as I'll need to drive this week. A good used CE1 was about £40 and it took about 30 minutes to swap. I believe they should be:

Brown: - (earth)
Red: +
Grey/blue: light (+ when the lights are on)

So ignore the grey/blue and use the brown and red.

Looks like that could be an option, 175mm deep so might be a tight fit! Having the bluetooth monitoring would be helpful.

Mine is blanked off. I didn't do the conversion, but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues. To be honest, I'm not totally sure on the function of the breather/evac line on the engine. Do the breathers on the tank mean it's not required (no chance of a vacuum in the tank as the fuel goes down)? Or...
