Hi, I need to send my speedo off for a professional repair but I'm uncertain how to detach the blue tape from the back of the speedo. Does it just pull off or will that tear the circuit tape?
Many thanks

Re: Komet NSR side Bumper
Thanks Noggintom - will take a look, although I called my VW Dealer just now and he tells me it's now factory obsolete, so they don't even have any old stock left. Wish me luck

Komet NSR side Bumper
Can anyone help?
Someone trashed my nsr side bumper while I was on holiday and I can't seem to find a replacement.
It is the Carat style Big Bumper (Part No; 255 807 323).
Can anyone suggest where I can find one?
Many thanks

Re: Wing Mirrors!!!
I had the same problem 2 years ago on my way to France. In the queue another Van owner told me he used hose clips on the neck/ball joint of the mirror, tightened them up and, no problem since. Not a pretty solution but it's worked for the last two years for me!

Re: Fridge Not working and bodywork
Thanks for getting back to me. I do put the fridge to gas on site, my problem is that we drove for 8 hours through France with the 3 way set to 12v battery - Zig to "Touring" and there was no drop in temp at all. Tested it on gas on arrival - that was fine and cooled very quickly, so it se...

Fridge Not working and bodywork
Hi out there. Having never had any problems with my fridge the 12volt system just never worked at all on our holiday this week. On touring it didn't cool and when on site it still didn't cool the fridge. I tested it on the gas and it worked fine using that, but haven't had a chance to check out on m...

I had a similar problem with my first van, replaced everything on the ignition system and it still failed to start from time to time. After two changes to the ignition switch (lazily done it now appears), it was the switch itself not earthing properly to the steering collumn. It seems that in order ...

wing mirrors
We had the same problem on our way to France 2yrs ago. At the ferry terminal a couple of fellow van owners saw me moving the limp mirror about and  attached a jubilee clip to the gap between the fixing and the mirror arm (I guess the ball fixing?) and solved the problem straight away. It still...
