Re: Drop arm Bush replacement
Oh b*gger! I mean't to say the drop arm for the anti-roll bar that bolts to the strut bar that bolts to the lower control arm. Early arms are slightly curved whereas later arms are straight. I read somewhere on the Vanagon forum @ samba.com that is possible but not without a struggle. As my Gran use...

Drop arm Bush replacement
How do,
Having got Bezza, my 1980 Westy up on ramps to cure the noisy/sloppy gear change with new bushings a thought crossed my mind while I was on a Bush changing fetish
Can I change the drop arm bushes while my T25 is up on ramps at the front? Can it be done without removing the wheels?
TIA

Early & Late Fuel level senders
Fellow Vanagonisti, One of my winter projects is to make the fuel tank on Bezza, my 1980 Westy, cease leaking whenever I fill her up. Going by her plastic fuel filler neck and reasonable looking tank I'll hazard an educated guess that they have been replaced in the recent past. Nevertheless...

Re: Weber ICT 34 Carbs
Hola Amigo, I have a set on Bezza, my 1980 LHD Westy and I am very happy with 'em :D I recently checked the jetting with Running Weber Ict's on a Vw Aircooled engine - wayoutwestie for the 2.0 CU Type 4 Engine and apart from the mains being a bit smaller all was well. FWIW I am a 'Luddite' t'in...

Re: Recommended Exhaust for an Air-cooled T25
Thanks for the Heads Up hubcap,
How does it perform on your T25 Wasserboxer? {A 547 LTA where are you now? } Smoother running ? Better fuel economy ?
IIRC These stainless 2 tip Exhausts are covered by a 5 year non transferable warranty.

1980 Westphalia Joker Water System don't work
Afternoon All, My recently acquired Lime Green1980 T25 Westy Joker, Beryl, has had a few 'foibles' to deal with. The fridge now works fairly well and the twin burner hob can now be brewed and cooked upon :P However the water system don't work :( Turning the tap on only makes the battery level L...

Tap operation on 1980 Westphalia Joker
Hola Amigo', Jut spent an hour trying to get the tap to work on my recently acquired 1980 Westphalia Joker. The water tank is just over half full yet the LH Colum of LED's shows nothing whereas the RH Colum of LED's show Green but when the tap is turned on goes to Yellow. Even with he engine running...
