Re: Diesel Heaters
Are diesel heaters quieter than propex heaters? Can they be tapped in to the engine fuel line instead of a seperate tank? Just curious for a future upgrade maybe?

A question about seals. Rubber, not cute furry things.
I've tried and tried to find the info I need, including asking on the Foster and Day FB group, but so far no help. I am needing to replace the door seals on my Foster and Day coachbuilt, the habitation door, and I'm not totally sure what I need. The old seal that goes around the door is a T and bubb...

Re: Engine lid problem
Thanks, I'll give that a try. Do you think the foam will stand a pressure washer or should I just stick to rinsing it with a hose?
Any options for replacing the foam? It's a diesel lid with the moulded black foam.

Engine lid problem
Hi guys, I need some advice. Last month I had a breakdown when the redundant oil filler pipe on my 1z conversion split and dumped oil all over the auxiliary belt which spread it all over the engine and engine bay. Anyway, I've been cleaning, rewiring, replumbing, cleaning and just for fun a bit more...

A Kamper Compact awning like this one: https://khyam.co.uk/products/kamper-compact-pole-sleeve-driveaway-campervan-awning Complete with inner tent, kador strip and figure 8 strips and internal LED light stri...

Re: 3.9kg Propane Bottle Shortage
My coachbuilt I bought back in February has a gas locker in it designed to take 2 x 3.9kg propane bottles too. Of course I only found out about the lack of calor bottles after that, and there is no way I can fit in a 6kg bottle. I thought about fitting a double bottle gaslow lpg system, they do a 2....

Could be, especially if the level isn't going down.

Re: Brake warning light and soft brake pedal
Sounds very much like a cylinder failure, or flexi leaking. Have a look at your rear drums for damp patches, same for the flexi pipes on all four corners. If you don't see anything you might need to take off your rear drums and look for damp inside. If it is a rear cylinder, then you will likely nee...

Re: Small bulbs for 1982 van
The oil light on your van is actually an LED not a bulb. Generally they don't fail, they can, but that would be down to an over voltage or over current situation. More likely to fail would be your flexible circuit board on the back of your dash or your possibly the sender or engine wiring. Plenty of...
