Re: Propex 1600 not working
Will give them a ring, thanks. Don’t think it’s the fan as the cold air is working fine.

Propex 1600 not working
This Propex heater will be the death of me! I’ve searched the forum and I’m not getting the same problem that others have so finding it tricky to fault find. Thermostat is showing green and red light. Have checked the gas regulator is working. Getting plenty of voltage at the thermostat. Ignition on...

Re: Cyrix ct wiring
Thanks both, that’s really helpful. Will also get another 120a fuse as that makes sense to protect the wire that side too.

Cyrix ct wiring
https://i.postimg.cc/0QhMyDtR/9-F96-B723-5-CD8-4-CD5-9-E34-BE49-E4-FB6-F11.jpg I’m installing a cyrix ct and removing the old relay switch. I have attached the wiring diagram for it. I’ve done most of the wiring but unsure whether there should be a negative cable between the two batteries or if it’...

Re: Safe under driver seat
Thank you, the little catch worked a treat once we’d also greased up the runners a little!
I have no idea how they have fitted it though, think the bolts are under the van
Thanks for your help

Safe under driver seat
Hi all!
We’ve got a safe under the driver seat in our ‘86 Autosleeper. Just wondered if anyone else has got one? Was it part of the original conversion? The seat doesn’t seem to slide far enough forward to open it

Re: Temperature gauge not working
Ok so it turns out that I’d assumed the gauge would shoot up to the bottom of the white on turning the ignition, but it doesn’t it just rises slowly. So it was the sender and it’s all fixed now! Thanks so much for your help!

Re: Temperature gauge not working
Thanks for your reply. So the old sender did work perfectly, until last week when the gauge started dropping, and then stopped working completely. The new sender looked the same as the old one and seemed to fit snuggly when it went back in. when I bridged the connection to test, the gauge went all t...

Re: Temperature gauge not working
Ok so have fitted the new sender (with a schoolboy error of getting covered in coolant) and the gauge still isn’t working any thoughts as to why or what else to try? Thanks in advance!

Re: Temperature gauge not working
Checked the sender today by bridging the connection and the gauge went all the way to the right when I turned the ignition on, so just ordered a new sender. Thanks so much for the help!

Re: Temperature gauge not working
Thanks so much for your reply. I’ve found it at the front of the thermostat housing. Does that plug just pull off? And then how would I bridge the connection? Sounds like it would need to be while the engine is running to test it? Or just ignition on? This is all very new to me as I’m sure you can t...

Temperature gauge not working
Hoping for some help 😅 The last two days the temperature gauge has started moving (it was pretty steady) and then started to drop. Has now dropped to the far left, which is the same position as when the engine is off. My original thoughts were that it could be the coolant temperature gauge sensor? I...
